This program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to participate at a high level of competition. A strong commitment to skill development and work ethic are integral to this program. Playing times in games may not be equal for grades six through eight. Skill levels, attendance, attitude, sportsmanship, and commitment are used to determine playing time. Practices and games will take place both during the week and on the weekends. Teams will travel around the area to Columbus, Marshall, Waterloo, Lake Mills, Deerfield, Palmyra, Randolph, Rio, and Jefferson. This program requires a great deal of commitment and travel for games and tournaments. Coaches will contact players to notify them of practice times and games. Parents are asked to help with home concession stands. In addition to league play, some teams may participate in weekend tournaments. Parents should anticipate practices for teams to start 3 weeks prior to their team’s first Saturday of games.
