It is our goal at CAP C.A.R.E. to provide your child with a creative, active, recreational and educational opportunities. We strive to ensure the complete safety of all our participants not to mention that they have fun!

Please take a moment to get to know each of our staff members.

 

Miss Mandy has been with the Cambridge Community Activities Program since 2010, Lead Teacher with CAP C.A.R.E. since 2014, and Director of Childcare operations since 2017.

Mandy earned an Associate of Arts in Early Child Development from Grand Rapids Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from UW Whitewater. She also holds a Program Development, Leadership, Diversity, and Administrator Credentials in Child Care, as well as a Wisconsin Training Professional Certification.

During her free time, you will find Mandy spending quality time with her daughters, Hope and Bella. She is also a volunteer EMT for the FITCHRONA & Jefferson EMS.

 

Miss Mary is the Administrative Aide for CAP CARE, and enjoys working with Miss Mandy and interacting with the staff and the children at CAP CARE! She has a Bachelor of Science degree in English Writing from Edgewood College in Madison and an Associate’s Degree in Secretarial Science. Miss Mary also enjoys teaching Water Aerobics at the Cambridge Pool. When she isn’t here, she usually has her nose in a book or is cooking or baking something in her kitchen.

 

Miss Gabby joined our team in August of 2017. She was introduced to teaching in 2015 when she enrolled in a dual credit program in Highschool and Waukesha Technical College. She fell in love with the role of a teacher ever since. Miss Gabby also works as a Special Education Aide at the elementary school. She loves doing hands on activities like crafts and cooking with the kids here at Cap Care, and cannot wait to see what this school year has in store for her! The children love Gabby’s positive attitude and fun energy.

 

Meghan Servais joined our team in the summer of 2019. She started as an assistant teacher and since obtained her Preschool and Leadership in Early Childhood Education Credentials.  She is currently working towards her Associates Degree.  She has lived in Cambridge since 2010 and has loved becoming part of this great community. She and her husband have two children, Ester and Morrison.  In their free time they love to camp, swim, and spend time as a family. She loves being a part of Cap Care and watching the kids in this program learn and grow!

 

Hope Hollis has been working for CAP since they were 14, they even attended CAP Care as a child. Hope was also heavily involved in BlueFins from 2010-2018. Hope enjoys art, movies, travel and cooking. They hope to incorporate their passion for these things into their class and help engage the kids more and introduce them to new educational things in a fun way, such as the Judicial System and Cooking/Culture.

Ms. Abbey has been a part of the team since 2018 and is an elementary PE Teacher in Janesville during the school year and works as a Lead Teacher at Cap Care in the summer for our Day Camp program. She attended UW-Whitewater majoring in Physical Education with a minor in Adapted PE/Health Education/Coaching. Ms. Abbey loves to engage the kids in activities that keep their minds and bodies moving! During her free time, Ms. Abbey enjoys kayaking, walking, reading, shopping and spending time with friends and family! ​

Hello, my name is Miss Tiffany. I have been in childcare for over 7 years. Being in this field is educational, and rewarding. Seeing the children learn and enjoy learning is rewarding as well. I am looking forward to furthering my education and learn all there is to know about the childcare field. Since starting at CAP CARE I have felt myself blossom!

 

Miss Kora joined CAP Care in May of 2023. She is in her Senior year of college at UW-Whitewater. She is majoring in Women's and Gender Studies. She enjoys autumn and going for walks with her family. She enjoys being a part of the CAP care team and watching the kids learn and grow!

 

Mr. Jacob joined CAP CARE in July 2023. He joined CAP originally at the YC and Ripley Park in May 2022 but is now excited to be part of the CAP CARE team. Before this, he volunteered at summer school at CES, where he realized he enjoyed working with elementary school kids. He enjoys golfing, following the Brewers, and working out when not at work. He is attending UW-Whitewater for a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minor in history. Mr. Jacob is excited to continue working with all the CAP Care kids and their families and watch the kids progress!

 

Miss Sheila is a retired Commercial Food service Consultant. She has lived in Cambridge for 20+ years and is active in multiple community organizations. She enjoys using her time to work with the kids in Capcare. One of her favorite things to hear is an excited voice saying "Hi Miss Sheila" when one of them recognizes her outside of Capcare.

Miss Bella just joined CAP and CAP C.A.R.E as of this year. She is a recent Cambridge High School graduate who just finished her first year at Luther College in Decorah, IA studying Music Education. Bella also recently started working at the Cambridge Elementary school as a Substitute Aid where she found that she loves working with elementary students. She is super excited for the kids at CAP C.A.R.E to teach and aid her in her dream of becoming a teacher.

 

Miss Bella (cupcake) has been a part of CAP C.A.R.E. since moving to Cambridge in 2010. She attended CAP C.A.R.E. until aging out after 4th grade then returned as a volunteer in 8th grade where she volunteered until turning 15 years old earning all her Silver Cord hours as well as the CAP C.A.R.E. volunteer of the year award. This year Miss Bella returned once again as an employee where the balances working at CAP C.A.R.E. as well as a head lifeguard and swim instructor at the Cambridge pool and any other area needed within CAP. Miss Bella is currently a senior at Cambridge High School and taking college classes at UW Whitewater. In the fall she will be attending UW Lacrosse where she intends to major in Recreation Management with an emphasis in Tourism and join the Lacrosse swim team.

She attended CAP C.A.R.E. until aging out after 4th grade then returned as a volunteer in 9th grade where she volunteered at CAP C.A.R.E. and other CAP programs earning all her Silver Cord hours. This year Miss Bella returned once again as an employee where the balances working at CAP C.A.R.E. as well as a head lifeguard at the Cambridge pool. Miss Amanda is currently a senior at Cambridge High School as well as part of the track team. Miss Amanda will be attending college in the fall.
