Is your child interested in getting started in baseball or looking to sharpen their skills before the season begins? This camp is a great opportunity to do both. Top notch instruction will be provided by the Cambridge High School baseball coaches. Participants who register by the deadline are guaranteed a camp t-shirt. T-Ball

T-Ball introduces young players to the fundamentals of throwing, catching, hitting, and running the bases using a fun, low-pressure approach. Children must be 5 years old by June or entering kindergarten in the fall to participate.

Dates: Mondays & Thursdays, June 8 - July 16
Time: 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Ages: 6 – 9 or two years of t-ball

Fee: $50 R / $65 NR ($10 late fee after deadline)
In this local league, practices focus on developing fundamental skills, understanding the rules, and learning general gameplay. Games are played for experience, with no scores or standings recorded. Coaches pitch to players during both practices and games. Game schedules (primarily played on Mondays) will be released in late May.

Little League Baseball
CAP participates in the Eastern Suburban Youth Baseball League, which includes the communities of Columbus, Cottage Grove, Deerfield, Fall River, Jefferson, Lake Mills, Marshall, McFarland, Monona, and Waterloo. Uniform tops are provided and players should wear gray pants. First year players will receive a hat, while returning players may purchase a replacement by contacting the CAP at (608) 423-8108. Minimum 10 participants. Grades based on 2025-2026 school year.
Warm Up Day
There is a mandatory spring warm-up day for all interested in playing baseball at the NMS fields.
Saturday, April 11

American League teams play on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Practices will begin in three weeks before the first game, and will continue throughout the season based on team and coach availability. Parent transportation is required, and each team will have the opportunity to participate in at least one tournament.
National League

Fee: $90 R / $105 NR

Pony League is a traveling baseball program designed to offer increased competition and skill development. Coaches and league directors will set the game & practice schedule. Families will be updated as soon as possible. Team jerseys are provided; though families are to provide gray pants, blue socks, and a belt.
Teener League
Dates: May thru July 17
Grade: 8
Location: CHS Field
Fee: $100 R / $115 NR

Teener League is a traveling baseball program designed to transition athletes to High School baseball. Coaches and league directors will set the game & practice schedule. Families will be updated as soon as possible. Jerseys are provided, though families are to provide grey pants, blue socks and a belt.
