Community Guitar Lessons

Day: Wednesdays
Location: Oakland Cambridge Presbyterian Church
Age: All ages (children 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult)
Instructor: John Schroeder, Community Guitar Co.
Fee: $145 R / $160 NR

SESSION DATES SESSION TIMES
February 25 - May 27 (no lessons 4/1 or 4/15)-SESSION FULL! 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm
June 3 - August 19 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm or 6:45 - 7:15 pm

This is a 12 week beginner course for adults, families, and kids who’ve always wanted to play guitar but never knew where to start. Students will learn simple chords, strumming patterns, rhythm basics, and a few familiar songs in a relaxed, supportive group setting. The pace is slow, steady, and beginner‑friendly, with weekly practice materials to help everyone grow between sessions. No prior musical experience is needed, just bring a 6‑string guitar in any condition and a willingness to learn.
