Attention Cambridge area residents age 55 or better! Join the CAP for one of our fantastic senior citizen programs. Every Thursday has something new to offer. You won’t want to miss this opportunity to socialize and meet new friends

Card Club

Date: 1st Thursday of every month
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: Youth Center, NMS
Fee: FREE

Enjoy your favorite card games or learn some new ones. Games played may include euchre, rummy, poker, and more.

Luncheons

Date: 2nd Thursday of every month
Time: 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Fee: $3 per luncheon
Please note: RSVPs are required one week prior to luncheon to help us plan for meals. Please contact Jody at (608) 423-8045 to make your reservation.

Date Title Description
April 12 Spring Gardening After lunch we will get some tips on getting our flower or vegetable garden ready for the seson from the staff of America's Best Greenhouse.
May 12 Driving Safely A local AARP presenter will speak on driving safely and gice advice and resources for doing so.
June 14 Tiny Dancers Entertainment for the day will be provided by the CAP dance classes. Beginners in Ballet and Hip Hop will showcase their talents.
July 12 Euchre Tournaments After lunch we will separate into small groups for some friendly Euchre competition.
August 9 Senior Appreciation Picnic Join us for the 4th Annual Senior Appreciation Picnic and enjoy the summer weather at Ripley Park. Cambridge Foundation members will do the grilling and we will enjoy some of our favorite summer foods!
September 13 Bingo Luncheon Enjoy free bingo games with some fun prizes after lunch!

Bingo

Date: 3rd Thursday of every month
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: Youth Center, NMS
Fee: $0.25 per card per game

Join the CAP staff for an afternoon of bingo! All different kinds of bingo games will be played, and participants will compete for prizes.

Movie and Popcorn

Date: 4th Thursday of every month
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Location: Youth Center, NMS
Fee: FREE

Enjoy a movie on the big screen while indulging in freshly popped popcorn.

Active Adults Exercise Program

Days: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, ongoing
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 9:45 a.m.
Location: NMS, Historic Auditorium
Fee: $3 per class or purchase 10 punch pass for $25

An instructor will lead this class to stretch and strengthen your muscles. Chairs will be available for balance and also for those who prefer to do exercises sitting down. This class will provide you with cardiovascular exercise, increased flexibility and coordination as well as provide a positive social environment. Minimum 4 participants.
